Today I was walking by the new Grand Rapids Art Museum (on my way to lunch at the Olive Express - mmmmmm). I shot some clips of the work going on and the current state of construction to share with y’all. Enjoy

I was walking past there yesterday and thought how different it looked from the rest of downtown. It is really cool to have such a focal point, and not just something that blends in. My brother thinks it looks like a giant apple store.
It totally looks like a big Apple store! especially the one in midtown manhattan.
did you get my email via flickr? if not, just shoot me an email
Hey I liked your clip we started setting the lantern glass on Friday and should have lantern #1 complete by Wednsday. Each piece of glass is 2,000 pound’s. We set them via power cup and crane, quite a site. Check it out next Monday for lantern #2.
Been digging your vlog.
I’ve spent some time in GR, big fan of the architecture, of which GR has an impressive amount for its size.
Loved the piece on the anheiser bush building. Saw that a few years back, it’s a gem. Glad to see there’s so much redevelopment going on.
BTW, I think this may be the first vlog on urban planning and architecture.
There’s quite a few “green vlogs” though.
